TMELA is experienced in working with individual schools and clusters
of schools on special projects. Working together with other schools
can be very advantageous to all schools and a great way to get to
know other staff with similar positions to yours. It can also be a
great way to build relationships between primary and secondary
schools, rural and urban schools, government and non-government
schools. Many funding bodies are currently looking to fund groups of
schools that are willing to work together on innovative projects.
Often the time consuming work involved in
coordinating these great ideas lies on the shoulders of one or two
people whose actual job it is to teach. Often, these people miss out
on participating because they are too busy organizing.
